ANANDO is committed to the responsible and transparent management of all donations. This policy outlines how we collect, use, and protect donor information.
1Tax Status & Receipts
ANANDO is registered under the Societies Act and Foreign Donations (Voluntary Activities) Regulation Act of Bangladesh. Donors will receive official receipts for all contributions. International donors should consult their local tax authority regarding deductibility.
2Refund Policy
Refund requests must be submitted within 30 days of the donation date. Approved refunds will be processed within 10 business days using the original payment method. To request a refund, contact donate@anando.org with your transaction reference.
3How Donations Are Used
A minimum of 85% of all donations directly fund programme activities. Remaining funds cover essential operational costs including financial management, compliance, and programme quality assurance. Annual audited accounts are publicly available.
4Data Collection
We collect donor name, contact details, and transaction information solely for donation processing, receipt issuance, and donor communications. We do not sell, rent, or share donor information with third parties.
5Communications
Donors receive programme updates and impact reports by default. You may opt out at any time by contacting us at donate@anando.org or clicking unsubscribe in any email communication.
6Data Security
All donor data is stored securely with encryption and access controls. We comply with applicable data protection regulations and conduct regular security reviews.
7Children's Privacy
We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 18 years of age through our donation platforms.
